"Surf Fever 2000" is a great 20 track collection that features a plethora of originals along with some oft covered classics (among them "The Lonely Bull", "'Exodus", "A Taste of Honey", "'Perfidia", "Movin", "Baja" and "A Hard Day's Night"). With so many Herb Alpert tunes on it I'm surprised they aren't on the new Wildebeest Records tribute CD. The sound is nice and thick with excellent pickin' (reverb applied in all the right places) and a top-notch performance from the rhythm section.
